The order dated 31.01.2024 passed by the second respondent vide Annexure-C is called into question in this Writ Petition on several grounds as set-out in the Memorandum of Writ Petition. 3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 4. The order is passed under Section 126 of the Electricity Act, 2003. As against the said order, there is an alternate and statutory remedy of filing an appeal under - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:26832 WP No. 7150 of 2024 Section 127 of the Electricity Act, 2003. Hence, I decline to exercise power under writ jurisdiction. 5. Resultantly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The petitioner may take recourse under the law seeking appropriate relief before the appropriate Forum, if so advised.
