The present Writ Petition is filed seeking the following prayer: “to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or direction declaring the action of the Respondents and their staff in trying to dispossess and acquiring the part of the agriculture land belonging to the Petitioner situated in Sy.No.717 meaning an extent of Ac.0.87 cents situated in Vempalle Village, Madanapalle Mandal, Annamaya District, for construction of drainage canal without putting him on notice nor following the procedure contemplated under the Right of Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement Act, 2013 as arbitrarily, illegal by defeating the rights of the Petitioner as unconstitutional, without authority against the principles of natural justice and consequently directing the Respondents and their staff from interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of aforementioned agricultural land in all respects including the construction of drainage canal and pass such …..” 3. Sri Naik, Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Sri M.Sudhir, Learned Counsel for Respondent No.5 has submitted Written Instructions furnished by Panchayat Secretary of Vempalle Gram Panchayat, Madanapalle Mandal, Annamayya District dated 04.04.2025. Copy of it is supplied to Learned Counsel for Writ Petitioner. The same is taken on record. 4. The relevant portion of Written Instructions is usefully extracted hereunder: “It is humbly submitted that Smt. V. Rupa Sundaramma W/o. Venkatadri Chandra residents of Vempalle Village, Madhanapalle Mandal filed Writ Petition before the Hon'ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh In W.P.No.4473/2025 for construction of drainage canal without putting him on notice nor following the procedure contemplated under the Right of Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 in Sy. No.717 of Vempalle Gram Panchayat. In the said survey number, there is no construction of drainage canal.” 5. The above extract would indicate that the Official Respondents have not undertaken any construction of drainage canal in Sy.No.717 measuring an extent of Ac.0.87 cents in Vempalle Village. 6. Having noticed the above Written Instructions, this Court is of the view that no further consideration is necessary in this Writ Petition. 7. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
