The petitioners in the instant petition have challenged the proceedings in C.C.No.3818/2022 pending before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Bengaluru. The petitioners are charged with offences alleged to have been committed under Sections 498A, 323 read with Section 34 of IPC.
2. The present dispute has arisen due to a matrimonial discord between petitioner no.4-husband and respondent no.2- wife. He has filed a memo enclosing the memorandum of agreement entered into between the husband and wife, which has resulted in divorce being granted to them.
