JUSTICE VIJAYKUMAR A. PATIL) The father of the alleged detenue has filed this writ petition seeking for production of his daughter. The matter is listed today. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo for withdrawal of the writ petition. The memo reads as under: "The undersigned counsel for the Petitioner, humbly seeks the leave of this Hon'ble Court, to withdraw the subject petition. The subject petition has become infructuous in light of the fact that the Petitioner's daughter, i.e., Ms Muskan S. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:51127-DB W.P.H.C. No.133/2025 (Detenue) has been traced and located by the jurisdictional police. It is humbly prayed that the present memo may be taken on record, and the subject petition may be dismissed as withdrawn in the interest of justice and equity." 3. Learned SPP, on advance notice, submits that pursuant to the filing of this petition and the registration of complaint, the jurisdictional police traced the alleged detenue and have produced her before this Court. 4. We had a detailed interaction with the detenue. She stated that she is aged about 21 years, has studied up to 7th standard and had been residing with the petitioner-father for some time. She further stated that she left the home on her own and joined her mother, who resides in Shivajinagar, Bengaluru. The detenue is accompanied by Smt.Manjula V.S. WHC10551, who states that the detenue has been residing with her mother in Shivajinagar, Bengaluru and from there she has been accompanied and produced before this Court. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:51127-DB W.P.H.C. No.133/2025 5. In view of the production of the detenue and aforesaid memo, no further orders are required to be passed. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
