The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction in the nature of mandamus to respondent nos. 2 and 3 for doing fair investigation and submitting the police report in Case Crime No. 34 of 2025, under Sections 115(2), 352, 351(2) and 85 of B.N.S. and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Saray Mamrez, District Prayagraj within a determinate period of time. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.K. Ojha, learned A.G.A. appearing on behalf of the State and perused the material available on record. 3. Mr. S.K. Ojha, learned A.G.A. appearing on behalf of the State informs the Court that investigation, qua respondent no. 4, has already been completed in the matter and a charge-sheet has also been submitted against respondent no. 4. 4. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the investigation has been completed and a charge-sheet has also been submitted, there is nothing left for further investigation in the matter and the instant petition may be disposed of in the light of the statement given by the learned A.G.A. 5. Taking into consideration the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties and the fact that a charge-sheet has already been submitted in the matter, we are of the opinion that nothing is left for further Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Sanjay Mishra, Surya Prakash Pandey Counsel for Respondent(s) : G.A.
