Petitioner has filed a Divorce Petition which is numbered as Suit No. 68 of 2024 before Additional Family Court, Roorkee, District Haridwar. Petitioner has sought a direction to the Court concerned to expedite hearing of the said suit. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the suit was filed on 03.02.2024 and respondent/husband filed written statement on 09.09.2024, however, thereafter, the suit is proceeding with slow pace. 4. Having regard to the fact that nearly 11 months have gone by since filing of the divorce petition, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a request to the Court concerned to make endeavour to decide the suit within one year from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 5.
