PATIL) This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order of the learned Single Judge dated 05.12.2022 passed in W.P. No.16235/2022. 2. The relevant paragraph of the said order is extracted as below; "4. Learned Additional Government Advocate would submit that if reasonable time is granted, the admitted amount would be calculated and paid to the petitioner without any loss of time. 5. The submission is placed on record. Respondent No.1 shall within eight weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order, assess the amount by drawing up a report with regard to the admitted amount and make such payment to the petitioner." 3. We have perused the affidavits and counter affidavits filed by the accused. The affidavit indicates that the accused have paid Rs.7,96,732/-. Learned counsel appearing for the complainant vehemently submits that the admitted amount is Rs.89,86,365/-. 4. We are of the considered view that the issue with regard to the admitted amount by the respondents cannot be - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:45216-DB CCC No. 716 of 2023 gone into in the present proceedings. In view of the substantial compliance as ordered by the learned Single Judge, we close the contempt proceedings.
