Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Khelari P.S. Case No. 11 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.2073 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 457, 380, 467, 468 & 471/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri Gautam Govinda, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class at Ranchi.
Petitioner and co-accused are alleged to have stolen signed cheque book and passbook of the informant. They were apprehended while they had gone to the bank to encash Rs.10,000/-.
It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 15.07.2024. It was further submitted that chargesheet has been submitted in this case and the offence alleged is triable by the Court of Judicial Magistrate. It was finally submitted that co-accused Chandan Kumar @ Chandan Kumar Ram and co-accused Sunil Kumar have been granted bail by this Court earlier in B.A. Nos. 3117/2024 & 3118/2024.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Gautam Govinda, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class at Ranchi, or his successor, in connection with Khelari P.S. Case No. 11 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.2073 of 2024.
