1. By this present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondents to restore the electricity connection which has been disconnected by the respondents/electricity company.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that without proper opportunity of hearing and without considering the fact that due to some fault in the electricity meter, the excess bill has been raised by the respondents. He further submits that the petitioner has already approached the Electricity Consumer Redressal Forum vide Anenxure P-9 dated 10/01/2025, and on the said representation, the forum has already taken cognizance to the complaint lodged by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the as the petitioner has already approached the forum by submitting a representation vide Annexure P-9, it is for the forum to decide the said representation, as the petitioner has already availed the alternate remedy.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings.
5. It appears that the Electricity Consumer Redressal Forum by taking cognizance is considering the complaint of the petitioner,
3 hence, it is directed that the forum shall consider the complaint of the petitioner within a period of 15 days from today.
6. With the aforesaid observation and directions, the writ petition is disposed of. SD/-
