The respondent, despite service of notice, and printing his name in the cause list, has neither chosen to appear in person nor through counsel. Hence, the respondent is called absent and set exparte. 3. Heard the counsel for the petitioner and I have gone through the affidavit filed in support of the transfer petition. 4. The petitioner expresses inconvenience to travel more than 250 kilometres to attend the divorce proceedings in HMOP no.100 of 2024 filed by the respondent before the Sub Court Thuriyur, Trichy District. More over the petitioner has also instituted HMOP No.201 of 2024 for divorce, which is pending before the Sub Court Pollachi. Necessarily, both the OPs have to be tried together. In view of the above, I am inclined to allow this transfer petition. 5. Accordingly, HMOP No.100 of 2024 on the file of Sub Court, Thuriyur, Trichy is withdrawn and the same is transferred to the file of Sub Court, Pollachi to be jointly tried along with HMOP No.201 of 2024. __________ Page2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis TR CMP No. 859 of 2025 6.
