The petitioners have filed the instant petition under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking quashing of FIR No.127 dated 02.08.2021 registered under Sections 306, 506 & 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Vairoke, District Fazilka and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom qua the petitioners. 2. On receipt of advance copy of the petition, Mr. Adhiraj Singh, A.A.G., Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.1-State and on instructions from ASI Mukhtiar Singh, submits that in the present case final report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. has been presented on 28.06.2024, charges have been framed on 27.09.2024, out of total 15 prosecution witnesses, 01 has been examined so far and the next date before the Trial Court is 10.04.2025. He further submits that in the instant petition, the petitioners have not challenged the final report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. and order dated 27.09.2024, whereby charges have been framed against him.
