Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Garhwa P.S. Case No. 596 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 103(1), 238 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Garhwa. 3. On 30.09.2024, dead body of an unknown female was found near Belchampa bridge of Koyal river. Later on, during the course of investigation, dead body was identified as Reena Giri. She was a divorced lady. 4. Prior to the occurrence, petitioner and his wife Lalita Mandal were seen abducting the deceased in a vehicle. Thereafter, she was found murdered. It further appears that the deceased had sent her recorded dying declaration in which she has stated that she has been abducted and she was carried in a vehicle and she will be murdered. 5. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J) Ranjeet/ Uploaded
