CWP-19996-2025 -1- IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH 123 CWP-19996-2025 Date of Decision: 24.07.2025 Satvinder Singh …Petitioner(s) Versus State of Haryana and others …Respondent(s) CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA Present:- Mr. S.K. Liberhan, Advocate for the petitioner Mr. Deepak Vashisth, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA, J. (Oral) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 30.04.2025, Annexure P-3, whereby the fifth respondent has been posted in Kalpana Chawla Government Polytechnic (Women), Ambala City, against the post of Vice Principal-cum-TPO (Training and Placement Officer). Earlier she was working as Head of Department (Electrical) in Government Polytechnic, Ambala City. 2. Learned counsel contends that the petitioner had been promoted as regular Vice Principal-cum-TPO vide order dated 16.12.2024, and was awaiting for posting as such. Recently, the Department, vide order dated 18.06.2025, gave postings to fourteen other Vice Principal-cum-TPOs, but the petitioner was not included in the said order. It is also contended that there is no Electrical trade in the Institute, and therefore the fifth respondent could not have been posted there vide the impugned order. PAYAL 2025.07.29 14:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CWP-19996-2025 -2- 3. There is no document on record to establish that the petitioner has been promoted as regular Vice Principal-cum-TPO in the Department, nor has any document been referred to show that the Electrical trade is not there in the Institute. Accordingly, it cannot be said that the impugned transfer order posting the fifth respondent in the Institute against the post of Vice Principal-cum-TPO is to the petitioner’s prejudice. 4. In view thereof, there is no ground to entertain the petition, and stands dismissed.
