This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "Issue a wit order or direction, in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Respondent No.2/Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Mawana, District Meerut to consider and pass appropriate order on the application/representation of the petitioner dated 08.07.2025 with regard to the execution of fishery lease deed in favour of the petitioner for the ponds situated in village Sathia, Tehsil Mawana, District Meerut having khasra no. 867 (area 0.190 Hectare) and another pond having khasra no.868 (агеа 1.676 Hectare) within stipulated period as this Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that fisheries rights has been settled in his village. An application has been moved by the petitioner on 08.07.2025 before respondent No.2 that the person in whose favour fishries rights has been settled is not residing in the village, which is pending consideration. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent No.2 to decide the application dated 08.07.2025 in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
