Alleging that the order of this Court dated 25.07.2024 in W.P.No.20446 of 2024, directing the first respondent in the writ petition to dispose the statutory appeal on its own merits and in accordance with law, has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed. 2.The State counsel has filed an affidavit stating that the appeal has been disposed of as directed by this Court on 20.06.2026. 3. In light of the submission made by the Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu and the order of this Court dated 25.07.2024 having been complied with in letter and spirit, we close this contempt petition.
