1. Prayer in the present petition for directing the respondents to pay all the benefits which accrued to father of the petitioner.

Learned counsel states that despite the criminal proceedings initiated against Boota Ram, vide order dated 23.08.2022 passed by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Nakodar have been ordered to abate, neither has the subsistence allowance been released nor any other benefit. In this regard, he would submit a representation to the respondents, which may be
directed to be decided in a time bound manner.
3. Learned State counsel, on instructions from Sh. Vikram Singh, Law Officer, Punjab Vidhan Sabha, states that in case, the petitioner submits a representation within 4 weeks, the same shall be considered and decided within a period of 4 months, in accordance with law, after granting opportunity of hearing to him.
4. Ordered accordingly. If the petitioner is found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons, whereupon he shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
