KARASA/KOVI/SIBBANDI/C4/3338/2024-25 DATED 04/01/2025 ISSUED BY THE SECOND RESPONDENT VIDE ANNX-L AND ETC, THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION BEFORE LOK ADALAT, THE FOLLOWING CONCILIATION ORDER IS PASSED: CONCILIATION ORDER In this petition, the petitioner has prayed for quashing the impugned disability certificate bearing No. UHID20240058531 issued by the third respondent vide Annexure-K and the impugned office order bearing No. 3 KARASA/KOVI/SIBBANDI/C4/3338/2024-25 dated 04/01/2025 issued by the second respondent vide Annexure-L and consequential relief. 2. After negotiations, the parties have arrived at settlement. Accordingly, both the parties have filed a Joint Memo duly signed before the Lok Adalath. The said Joint Memo reads as follows : “The WP is filed seeking to assign light duty to the petitioner, the WP has been settled between the parties on the following terms and conditions. 1. The petitioner agrees to get himself examined before the concerned jurisdictional medical board for assessment of percentage of disability and shall produce the disability certificate issued strictly in accordance with the guidelines in terms of the order of the Hon’ble Court in WP no.7140/2023 DD 27.07.2023 and WP.No.8271/2025 DD 27.03.2025, within a period of 2 months from today. 2. On such production of disability certificate, the corporation has agreed to examine the claim of the petitioner for providing light duty in accordance with law. 3. The Corporation is at liberty to seek clarification/re-examination of the disability certificate from the concerned medical board in the event it is required. 4 The parties to this petition have set their hand to this settlement before the Lok Adalat in the presence of conciliation on this 26.04.2025 at Bengaluru Bench. 3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of the Joint Memo modifying the impugned disability certificate bearing No. UHID20240058531 issued by the third respondent vide Annexure-K and the impugned office order bearing No. KARASA/KOVI/SIBBANDI/C4/3338/2024-25 dated 04/01/2025 issued by the second respondent vide Annexure-L.
