ORAL ORDER
1. Heard learned advocate Ms. Mathur for the petitioner. By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for following relief:-
“(A) Your Lordships, be pleased to admit and allow this petition. (B) Your Lordships be pleased to issue appropriate writ, order or direction, writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent authority to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 16/5/25 (Annex. A) for grant of pensionary benefits, within a time bound period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
C/SCA/15076/2025 ORDER DATED: 11/11/2025 (C) Direct the respondent authority to consider the petitioner's eligibility and release the admissible pensionary benefits as per the applicable rules. (D) Any other and further relief/s may kindly be granted in the interest of justice.”
2. Learned advocate Ms. Mathur points out that the petitioner’s representation made to DDO Rajkot is pending since 16-05-2025, and therefore, the respondent DDO Rajkot may be directed to decide the same.
3. Considering the aforesaid clause of prayer, respondent No.2 – DDO Rajkot is directed to decide the representation dated 16-05-2025 at the earliest, but not later than 31st January 2026, by passing a reasoned order, which shall be communicated to the petitioner by way of speed post. In case the petitioner’s representation is rejected, the DDO Rajkot shall pass a reasoned order to that effect.
4. With the aforesaid direction, without entering into the merits of the matter, the petition is disposed of.
