MANOJ, J ------------------------------ W.P.(C) No.26976 of 2016 -------------------------------------------------- Dated this the 26th day of March, 2025 JUDGMENT The writ petition is preferred by the students of the 2nd respondent College challenging the alleged illegal collection of college union fund by the 3rd respondent. 2. It is further contended that apart from the collection of college union fund at the beginning of each academic year, the 3rd respondent illegally collected an additional amount of Rs.3,000/- as college union fund from all the fresh students, who were taken admission in the college in each academic year and they misappropriated the same for their personal purpose. 3. The matter was came up for consideration in the year 2016, thereafter three postings were given to the case till 16.12.2016. The petitioners have not attempted for any further posting till this day. W.P.(C) No.26976 of 2016 3 2025:KER:26494 Even going by the contentions in the writ petition and the attitude of the petitioners, I think that the petitioners are no longer interested in prosecuting the case further as the issue pertains to 2014, by this time the course of such students would have completed.
