JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for all the respondents. 2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Arakalgudu Taluk, made a communication dated 16.02.2015 at Annexure-J to the Assistant Commissioner, Sakleshpura Sub-Division, stating that after verification of the records and the representation given by the petitioner herein, it is found that *the petitioner claimed to be the legal representative of late Sri. Subbegowda alias Govindegowda who purchased lands in Sy.Nos. 44/1, *Corrected vide Court Order dated 29.08.2025 - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:30495 WP No. 18693 of 2025 44/2 and 44/3 all situated at the Malalikere Village, total extent 4 acres 12 guntas under a registered sale deed dated 17.01.1948. However, revenue entries were not mutated in the name of the purchaser from the year 1948. The lands are shown as 'Beelu' lands. In that view of the matter, the Tahsildar recommended to the Assistant Commissioner that the names of the legal representatives of *late Sri. Subbegowda alias Govindegowda may be entered in the land records. However, the Assistant Commissioner has not passed any orders till date. 3. Having regard to the communication made by the Tahsildar at Annexure-J, the Assistant Commissioner, Sakleshpura Sub-Division, is hereby directed to verify from the records and also call for information from the petitioner regarding the sale deeds and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled to have her name entered in the land records, in accordance with law, the Assistant Commissioner shall take steps and pass necessary orders accordingly. *Corrected vide Court Order dated 29.08.2025 - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:30495 WP No. 18693 of 2025 4. The entire process shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
