This Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to condone the delay of 305 days in filing the appeal in Appeal (CAD) SR.No.148559 of 2025. 2. It is seen from the affidavit that the subject suit was earlier pending before the City Civil Court, Chennai and subsequently transferred to Principal Commercial Court, Egmore, Chennai and renumbered. The petitioner had also engaged counsel. Therefore, the petitioner was well aware of the suit proceedings. Though the E.P. was filed in the year 2025, the petitioner claims that only after the receipt of the summons in the E.P., they became aware of the decree. 3. The reason stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition is not satisfied. Therefore, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the appeal in Appeal (CAD) SR.No.148559 of 2025 is rejected at the SR stage itself. (P.V.,J.)
