This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i. To, issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Sub Divisional Officer, Sakaldeeha, District Chandauli/respondent no.3 to restrain the respondent no.5 not to interfere in the peaceful cultivatory possession of the petitioner. ii. To, issue a writ, order or direction in to the nature of mandamus directing the respondent по.3 decide the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2025 (Annexure No.4) expeditiously within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble court." 2. From perusal of the prayer made in the writ petition it transpires that the relief has been sought against private respondent. No mandamus can be issued under Article 226 of the Constitution of India against a private person. 3. Writ petition is misconceived. Dismissed.
