1. Today, when the matter has come up for consideration, Mr. Mir Manzoor, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is backend of service, therefore, he is required to be transferred to his nearest hometown. He further submits that petitioner would feel satisfied if this petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to make a representation to the respondents, who will consider it strictly in accordance with law. To this proposition, Mr. T. M. Shamsi, learned DSGI, submits that in case petitioner makes a representation before the respondents, they will consider the same strictly in accordance with rules governing the field.
2. Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsels for the parties, this petition is disposed of by providing that in the event petitioner makes a representation for his transfer to his nearest hometown before the respondents within one week, they shall consider and decide it strictly in accordance with rules and regulations applicable to the subject within a period of two weeks. While doing so, petitioner shall also be heard.

Disposed of as above.
