The primary contention of the complainant is that the accused has filed false affidavit of Assets and Liabilities in C.Misc.No.106/2022. 3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the accused that the complainant has already initiated the proceedings for perjury under Section 340 of Cr.P.C. and the said proceedings are pending. 4. In view of initiation of said proceedings under Section 340 of Cr.P.C., the prayer sought in the present contempt petition cannot be gone into. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are dropped.
