PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: The petitioners have filed the present writ petition seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 79 of 2023 on the file of Disha UPS, Ongole, Prakasam District, for the alleged offences under Sections 498-A, 509 r/w 34 IPC, and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submitted, upon written instructions, that the police have completed the investigation and filed a charge sheet, and the 2 same was taken on file as C.C. No. 1309 of 2024 on the file of the II Additional Junior Civil Judge, Ongole. 3. Considering the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home that the investigation has been completed and a charge sheet has been filed, nothing further is required to be adjudicated on merits. 4. Recording the same, this Criminal Petition is dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioners to take steps, if so advised.
