IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK WP(C) No.35739 of 2025 Balaram Behra …. Petitioner Represented by Adv.- Mr. P.K. Mohapatra, Adv. -versus- State of Odisha & Ors. …. Opposite Parties Represented by Adv.- Mr. S.K. Jee, AGA CORAM: JUSTICE DIXIT KRISHNA SHRIPAD ORDER 16.12.2025 The subject matter of this petition is substantially similar to the case in State of Odisha & Ors. v. Saraswti Bhoi & Ors., 2022 (II) ILR-CUT- 629. Counsel for the petitioner submits that in the said case a direction has been issued for considering the similar representation for the grant of Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- (rupees four thousand two hundred) with effect from 01.12.2014 or any respective date on completion of 20 years of service in a single cadre towards the financial upgradation under RACP Scheme. Learned AGA Mr. Jee appearing for the OPs very fairly agrees that the subject representation should meet its fate at the hands of OP No.1 in the light of observations in Saraswti Bhoi supra. With this proposal, learned AGA Mr. Jee is agreeable, subject to the caveat that all contentions should be kept open and a reasonable period be prescribed for disposal of the subject representation. This is fair. Order No. 01. In the above circumstances, petition is disposed off. Time for consideration and to inform the petitioner in writing the result of such consideration, is eight (8) weeks. All contentions are kept open. It is open to solicit any information or document from the side of petitioner or from other officers, as are required for due consideration of the subject representation; however, in that guise delay shall not be brooked. Now, no costs. Web copy of order to be acted upon by all concerned. (Dixit Krishna Shripad) Judge Prasant Designation: Personal Assistant
