This petition is filed by the respondent in Crl.Misc.No.359/2023 challenging the order dated 23.07.2024 on the file of I Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Hubballi1 granting maintenance to the respondent herein. 2. Having taken note of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and as the respondent herein is served and remained absent, I have carefully considered the finding recorded by the Family Court. 3. Taking into consideration that the marriage between petitioner with the respondent was solemnized on 16.05.2013 and the parties are residing separately on account of family rift and also taking into consideration the fact that respondent herein is residing at Hubballi, I am of the view that the award of maintenance at Rs.6,000/- per 1 Hereinafter referred to as ‘Family Court’ - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:4788 RPFC No. 100179 of 2024 month by the Family Court is just and proper considering the fact that the respondent herein has to lead livelihood at Hubballi City. 4.
