JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for both the respondents. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been conferred occupancy rights at the hands of the Land Tribunal, Bangalore South Taluk on 30.08.1980 in case bearing No.LRF.170/1975-76 and it is also contended that Form No.10 was issued in favour of the petitioner at the hands of the Tahsildar. However, the name of the petitioner was not entered in the revenue records. The petitioner is seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent-Tahsildar, to consider the representation dated 16.07.2025 at Annexure-J and enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:34759 WP No. 26651 of 2025 3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent-Tahsildar, Bangalore South Taluk, to verify from the records and find out if grant was made in favour of the petitioner, If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.
