The instant contempt petition arises out of the Order/Judgment passed by this Court dated 9th October, 2013 in OWP 610/2007, in which notice was issued way back on 26thJune 2023. 2. The detailed compliance report has been filed on behalf of the respondents on 20.05.2025, in which, the respondents have taken a specific stand that the order passed by this Court mentioned supra has been complied with in its letter and spirit and in accordance to JK Municipal Corporation Act 2000. Their further stand is that thebuilding permission in this regard has been issued after all the formalities and NOCs from the various departments and the details whereof are given in the compliance report. Accordingly, a prayer has been made to close the contempt proceedings. 3. Thus, in the light of the stand taken by the respondents by way of a detailed compliance report, this Court is of the view that the direction passed in terms of order/judgment dated 9th October, 2013 stands complied with in its letter and spirit. In that view of the matter, nothing remains to be adjudicated any further in the instant contempt petition and accordingly, the proceedings in the instant contempt petition are closed.
