ORAL ORDER
1. Petitioner is present and learned counsel for petitioner is present. Respondent is present and
learned counsel for respondent is present.
2. Joint affidavit of petitioner and respondent is filed. Terms of settlement contained in the said joint affidavit are as under:
“4. The parties have mutually agreed to settle the remaining balance of Rs.2,57,500/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty- Seven Thousand and Five Hundred Only) as per the following mutually agreed four installments.

a.10th October, 2025 Rs.60,000/- b. 10th January, 2026 Rs.60,000/- c.10th April, 2026 Rs.60,000/- d. 10th August, 2026 Rs.77,500/- Total Rs.2,57,500/-
5. It is submitted that the said payments on the schedule dates will be payable by the Petitioner by way of TRGS/NEFT to the Respondent’s bank account or through UPI Payment as agreed by both the parties.
6. It is hereby submitted that, the Respondent begs to reserve the liberty to take legal action against the petitioner. The petitioner also undertakes and agreed 4 installments as per above mentioned dates, whether if petitioner is default one installment petitioner liable to pay entire balance amount as per terms and conditions agreed by both parties.”
3. In view of the above terms of settlement offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments

Act is compounded. In view of compounding of the offence revision petition is disposed of as offence compounded. If the petitioner commits any default in payment of any installments as agreed, he is liable to pay entire balance amount as per terms and conditions agreed by both the parties.
