Gurung, learned counsel for the respondents at the outset has submitted that there is no issue with the release of family pension to the writ petitioner, and in this regard has produced a communication dated 15.03.2025, from the Deputy Commandant, OC Rear Headquarters, 86 Bn. BSF. The contents of the letter reveal that the family pension in respect of the writ petitioner is pending with the respondents Nos. 5, 6 & 7, and request has been made for expeditious release thereof. The learned DSGI has further submitted that as the said respondents Nos. 5, 6 & 7, are responsible for the release 2025:MLHC:479 of the family pension, directions may be issued that the same may be expedited and processed within a certain time framed. 2. Ms. R. Kharshiing, learned counsel for the petitioner concurs to the submission and prays that the matter may be processed expeditiously, preferably within a period of 2(two) months. 3. The communication dated 15.03.2025, is taken on board and made part of the record. 4. Accordingly, in consideration of the submissions, the respondents Nos. 5, 6 & 7, are therefore directed to complete the process and to release the family pension to the writ petitioner within a period of 12(twelve) weeks from the date of this order, failing which further orders will follow. 5.
