Sub Application No. 873 of 2025 in Contempt Petition No.711 of 2007 For applicants : Mr.A.D.Janarthanan For Respondents : Mr.K.Mohana Murali ----- O R D E R This application has been filed to recall the amount of Rs.1,43,17,468/- which had been deposited in the Indian Bank, High Court Branch on fixed deposit to the credit of Contempt Petition No.711 of 2007. 2. In the affidavit filed in support of this Sub Application, it had been stated that consequent to the direction of this Court, a sum of Rs.60,30,000/- had been deposited to the credit of Contempt Petition No.711 of 2007 and it had been invested in the Indian Bank, High Court Branch and the amount had matured along with the interest, according to the applicant, had accrued to a sum of Rs.1,43,17,468/-. It had been stated that the petitioners have now entered into a compromise to divide the accrued amount into five equal parts and share the same among them.
