Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for contesting respondents. 2. The petition has been filed challenging the order dated 23.06.2025 passed by respondent no. 2, Director of Basic Education, U.P. Lucknow, by which the petitioner has been placed under suspension. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an FIR has been lodged against the petitioner and on the basis of the same a show- cause notice, dated 23.06.2025, has been issued to him. He further submits that without giving an opportunity, to submit a reply, he has been placed under suspension and accordingly the impugned order is illegal, arbitrary and unsustainable in the eyes of law. 4. Learned counsel for contesting respondent submits that in the present facts of the case, wherein serious allegations have been leveled against the petitioner, an FIR has been lodged and a show cause notice was also issued to him. The matter is being inquired by the Investigating Officer, pursuant to the said FIR and after the lodging of the FIR no opportunity is required to be provided to the petitioner. 5. In view of above as well as taking into consideration the conduct of the petitioner, which has been reproduced in the suspension order as well, no interference is called for by this Court, however, it is observed that the said inquiry, pending against the petitioner, shall be concluded as expeditiously as possible. 6.
