ORAL ORDER
In this petition, petitioner seeks the following reliefs:
“a) To quash the Non-bailable warrant issued against the petitioner on 10.07.2025 and 14.07.2025 at Annexures – C & D passed by the learned LXXXI Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru (CCH-82) in Special Case No.565/2021 in the interest of justice and equity;
b) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the learned Trial Court to permit the petitioner to appear and depose as Prosecution Witness No.36 (PW-36) via video conferencing in Spl.C.No.565/2021, in accordance with the Rules for Video Conferencing for Courts, 2020, issued by the Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka at Annexure E, ensuring a secure and uninterrupted link as per Rule 5.3 and verification of identity as per Rule 8.1.
c) Pass such other order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondent and perused the material on record.
3. On previous date of hearing i.e., on 16.07.2025, this Court passed the following order:

“Sri. P. Prasanna Kumar, learned counsel accepts notice for the respondent and seeks time to secure instructions.
Re-list on 23.07.2025 at 02.30 P.M.
In the meanwhile, the Non-bailable warrant issued as against the petitioner by the Trial Court in Spl.C.No.565/2021 is hereby stayed till the next date of hearing subject to the petitioner appearing before the Trial Court as a witness in the aforesaid Spl.C.No.565/2021 by way of Video Conferencing at 03.00 P.M. without awaiting further notice from the Trial Court.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondent jointly submit that pursuant to the aforesaid
order, the petitioner appeared as a witness in the aforesaid Spl.C.No.565/2021 and was fully examined and cross-examined and her evidence is completed. Accordingly, nothing further survives for consideration in the present petition, which stands
disposed of. In view of the above, NBW issued as against the petitioner also stands set aside.
