Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. In the present matter, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent indicated that the provisional assessment dated 29.06.2022, along with a direction to appear for a personal hearing, was served upon the petitioner. Inspite of the same, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner and thereafter, the final assessment was passed on 01.08.2022. 3. In light of the same, the only remedy available to the petitioner is to file an appeal under Section 127 of the Electricity Act, 2003. 4. We do not see any reason to intervene in this matter at this stage and, accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty granted to the petitioner to file an appeal in accordance with law.
