2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner after some length of argument on merit submitted and prayed on instructions, that he is not pressing prayer (a) as made in the instant writ petition at this stage.
3. It is submitted that he is making innocuous prayer that as portal of 'NAAC' has not been opened since 1.7.2024 and the decision of reducing the seats of the institution has been taken by the University without giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner- institution and further praying that the University shall be directed to take a decision after giving full opportunity of hearing to the petitioner-institution in accordance with law.

to innocuous prayer as made by the petitioner for deciding the dispute as raised in the writ petition in hand, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner-institution.
5. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University.

learned counsel for the parties, averments made in the writ petition, and the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner that as portal of 'NAAC' has not been opened since 1.7.2024 and the decision of reducing the seats of the institution has been taken by the University without giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner-institution and his further prayer that the University shall be directed to take a decision after giving full opportunity of hearing to the petitioner-institution in accordance with law, I am inclined to disposed of the instant writ petition allowing the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner.
