This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A3, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.125 of 2024 I of K.D. Peta Police Station, Anakapalli district. 2. A case has been registered against the Petitioner herein and others for the offence punishable under Sect'lon 20(b)(ii)(C) €fzff3g- Lq read with 8(c) of the Narc_otic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short lthe NDPS Act'). 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, iSthat, On 28.ll.2024, at about o8.00 hours, on receipt of credible information, the Sub- Inspector of Police, Peta Police Station, along with his staff and mediators, proceeded to Alluri Park of AL Puram village, Golugonda Mandal, Anakapalli district, and f6und Al to A3 in I possession and illegal transportation of 25 Kgs of Ganja in a Maruthi Ritz VDI Car. The contraband along with vehicle and other material was seized under cover of a mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. Petitioner herein was arrested on 28.ll.2024 and since then he is in judicial remand. The quantity of contraband allegedly seized from the possession of the accused is 25 Kgs of Ganja. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that `major portion of investigation has been completed. 6. ln view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A3 on the following conditions. Q=-. i) The petitioner/A3 shall be released on bail on his executing _a_ personal bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like sum each to the I satisfaction of the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge-Gum-Special Judge for trial of offences under the NDPS Act, Visakhapatnam. ii) On release, the petitioner shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned, once in a week i.e., on every Saturday between 10.00 am and 01.00 pm, till filing of the charge sheet. iii) petitioner/A3 shall not go beyond the jurisdiction of Anakapalli District, Andhra Pradesh State, wI'thOut leave of the I trial Court and he shall make available his location through mobile phone by pairing it with the mobile phone of the Investigating Officer round the clock. ``\ `' 7.
