IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 2263 of 2025 ------- Jagat Sahu @ Jagat Kumar @ Lucky, aged about 32 years, son of Satyaprakash Lal, resident of Krishnapuri Power House Chowk, Chutia, P.O. & P.S. Chutia, District Ranchi, Jharkhand. …... …. Petitioner(s) Versus The State of Jharkhand .…. …. Opp. Party -------- CORAM : HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH -------- For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Birendra Kumar, Advocate For the State : Mr. Azeemuddin, A.P. P. -------- 02/ Dated 21.03.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ormanjhi P.S. Case No.50 of 2024, for the offence under Sections 386/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Shri Chandan, learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi. On 14.04.2024, Ormanjhi Police apprehended co-accused Allauddin Ansari and on search, a loaded country made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from his possession. Co-accused Allauddin Ansari confessed that he was a member of Aman Sahu gang. He also spelt out that the petitioner was also a member of the gang. He also stated that petitioner and co-accused persons were also involved in sale and purchase of firearms. From the impugned order, it appears that petitioner is an accused in as many as eight cases. Petitioner is involved in the organized crime. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
