Rohit, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the private respondent has retired from service on 31.12.2024 on attaining the age of superannuation. It has further been submitted that as the present writ petition has been filed assailing the transfer order of the private respondent No. 3, no cause survives for adjudication and the present writ petition has become infructuous by efflux of time. Mr. H.S. Paonam, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner, submitted that the present writ petition can be closed as infructuous and the interim order passed earlier can be made absolute. In view of the submission made above, the present writ petition is hereby closed as infructuous. Interim order passed earlier by this Court is made absolute.
