Case No. 28 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 21(a), 22(a), 29 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla. 3. On 15.01.2025, Gumla Police apprehended the petitioner alongwith co-accused Santosh Singh @ Guddu from a place near Khora Bandh. On search, 14 grams of brown sugar were recovered from their joint possession. 4. It was submitted that the quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It was finally submitted that co- accused Santosh Singh @ Guddu has been granted bail by this Court earlier vide B.A. No. 2318 of 2025. 5. Mr. Manoj Kr Mishra, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla in connection with Gumla P.S.
