The grievance of the petitioner is directed towards Annexure-B an Official Memorandum dated 24.08.2025 issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Mandya District, reserving 38 guntas of land in Sy.No.73 of H. Malligere - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:37230 WP No. 28256 of 2025 Village, Dudda Hobli, Mandya Taluk and District for the purpose of Graveyard. It is pointed out from Annexure-B that information was given to the Deputy Commissioner that no applications in Form No.50, 53, 57 and 94C are pending consideration in respect of the said land. However, attention of this Court is also drawn to Annexure-G, an endorsement dated 03.09.2025 issued by the Tahsildar, Mandya Taluk, to the petitioner clearly stating that her application filed in Form No.53 on 05.02.1998 is still pending consideration before the Committee for regularization of unauthorized occupation. 3. Consequently the writ petition is partly allowed. The impugned official memorandum dated 24.08.2025 at Annexure-B is quashed and set aside. The 4th respondent/Tahsildar is directed to place the application of the petitioner in Form No.53 before the Committee for regularization of unauthorized occupation along with his recommendation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Committee - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:37230 WP No. 28256 of 2025 shall thereafter, consider the application and pass necessary orders within a period of two months from the date from which the application is placed before the Committee.
