The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 483 BNSS with a prayer to grant regular bail to him in case FIR No.30 dated 13.02.2025, registered under Sections 308(2), 316(2), 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 3(5) of BNS, 2023 and Section 13 of Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014, Police Station Rama Mandi District Police Commissionerate Jalandhar. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that it has been falsely alleged that the petitioner and his co-accused had illegally collected a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- from the wife of the complainant. He further submits that the petitioner was arrested in the present case on 22.03.2025 and is in custody since then. By referring to order Annexure P-3, he submits that Mukhtar Singh, VIPIN KUMAR 2025.07.23 13:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this judgment/order CRM-M-37056-2025 -2- similarly placed co-accused has been granted the concession of regular bail by this Court vide order dated 27.05.2025 in CRM-M-28280-2025 (Annexure P-3). 3. On the other hand, learned State counsel has vehemently opposed the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner on the ground that he is involved in 01 more case. However, he is on bail in the said case 4. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the record carefully. 5. In the present case, the petitioner is in custody for the last about 04 months and challan has already been filed against him. Moreover, similarly placed co-accused Mukhtar Singh has already been granted the concession of regular bail by this Court vide order dated 27.05.2025 (Annexure P-3). Thus, the further custody of the petitioner will not serve any useful purpose. 6. Without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate/Chief Judicial Magistrate, concerned. 21.07.2025 (N.S.
