Sundari, learned GA for the State respondents and Mrs. N. Elizabeth, learned counsel for the respondent no. 4. [2] By the present petition, the petitioners challenged the result of the Supplementary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) for Meetei Mayek, 2016 held on 28.08.2016 conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) is illegal as the same is without complying the guidelines dated 11.02.20211, issued by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). [3] In the alternative, it is also prayed that the selected/ qualified candidates for the said examination may not be permitted for appointment in any post of Primary Teacher. [4] The learned GA for the State respondents raises the preliminary objection that the selected/ qualified candidates in the STET for Meetei Mayek, 2016 are not impleaded in the writ petition and the same is not maintainable in the present form. However, the writ petition may be disposed of by directing the authority to follow the guidelines issued by NCTE in future examination. [6] With these observations, the present W.P.
