This writ petition was filed by Sahayak Van Karmchari Sangh, Uttarakhand challenging orders passed by Conservator of Forest on 06.06.2025. By the said order, Foresters, who are members of the petitioner association were transferred from one division to another. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that since the transfer orders have been implemented and petitioners have joined at the transferred places, therefore, the relief as claimed in prayer no. 1 do not survive. 5. Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in Forest Department, places have not been categorized as sugam and durgam, although, the Transfer Act provides for such classification of places, therefore, the competent authority be asked to take decision on representation dated 11.06.2025 submitted by the petitioner. 2025:UHC:8410 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the Conservator of Forest concerned to look into the issues highlighted by the petitioner in his representation and pass appropriate order, as per law, within eight weeks from date of production of certified copy of this order.
