JUSTICE PRADEEP SINGH YERUR) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for respondents/State. 2. Petitioner is the owner of various agriculture land situated at Athani taluka, Khilegaon village and is also running a nursery farm under the name and style of ‘Sai Grapes Nursery Farm’. The petitioner applied for procurement weapon/arm license and having undergone weapon training programme sought for issuance of licence to the authorities by filing an application on 31.05.2024 for the self defence and self protection. 3. It is the case of petitioner that despite application having been filed on 31.05.2024, respondents did not take any action either to pass an order allowing or rejecting the application. Hence, due to inaction on part of respondents, petitioner is before this court seeking a writ of mandamus. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:7801 WP No. 106679 of 2024 4. Learned AGA Sri S.V.Magadum appearing for respondent/State submits that application of the petitioner would be considered within a reasonable time on the basis of the report submitted by respondents No.2 and 3 in accordance with law. (b) Writ of mandamus is issued directing respondents No.1 and 2 to consider the application of the petitioner submitted on 31.05.2024 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. .
