JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR MEDHI ORDER 08.03.2025 This is an appeal filed by the appellant-National Insurance Company Ltd. (for short Insurance Company) against the judgment and award dated 22.12.2021 passed by the learned Commissioner Employee’s Compensation, Kamrup in W.C. Case No. 44/2017. 2. Shri P.D. Bhutia - Regional Manager, Shri Debajit Sarkar - Assistant Manager of the Insurance Company and the claimants along with their learned counsel, Shri A.R. Agarwala are present today i.e., 08.03.2025 in the National Lok Adalat. 3. The parties present before this Court jointly submit that the matter has been settled between the parties and a lump sum amount of Rs.13,24,700/- (Rupees Thirteen Lakh Twenty Four Thousand Seven Hundred) has been agreed upon. 4. It has however been informed that 50% of the aforesaid amount, i.e., Rs.6,62,350/- (Rupees Six Lakh Sixty Two Thousand Three Hundred Fifty) has already been deposited and received by the claimants. 5. In view of the above, the appeal stands closed with a direction that the Page No.# 3/3 Insurance Company shall deposit the balanced amount of Rs.6,62,350/- (Rupees Six Lakh Sixty Two Thousand Three Hundred Fifty) which is rounded off to Rs. 6,62,000/- (Rupees Six Lakh Sixty Two Thousand) being the full and final settlement before the Registry within a period of 45 days from today. 6.
