Petitioner filed a suit for permanent injunction in the month of October, 2024, in which he also filed application seeking temporary injunction. 3. Since no order could be passed on the temporary injunction application, therefore, petitioner has approached this Court seeking the following relief:- “A. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding Respondents to maintain the status-quo on the property till the pendency of temporary injunction application filed by the petitioner (Annexure no. 2) as per law.” 4. It is contended that in the month of June, 2025, when Civil Courts are closed in District Haridwar, defendants are trying to encroach upon the land in question, therefore, parties be directed to maintain status quo. 5. I am afraid that such relief cannot be granted in a petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution. 6. Since petitioner is before a competent Civil Court and his application seeking temporary injunction is already pending, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with a request to the Court concerned to consider petitioner’s temporary injunction application at an early date.
