The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the date of enquiry, the petitioner is arrayed as an accused in Crime No.155 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b) (ii)(B), 22(b), 22(c), 25, 29(1) of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and Section 4(1)(a) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act and Section 4(1)(C) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Act, 2024. In order to disprove the arrest of the petitioner, the petitioner raised a ground of alibi and sought for direction to produce the CCTV footages of the places stated in the prayer column. This Court, vide order dated 24.09.2025, directed the respondents 5 & 6 to preserve the CCTV footages if any available in the places stated in the prayer column and produce the same before this Court. 3. On instructions, the learned counsel for the respondents 5 & 6 submitted that there is no CCTV footages available for more than a period of three months. The FIR was registered on 27.03.2025.
