The instant writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "Issue suitable writ, order or direction to command the appellate authority/Additional District Judge, Court No.1, Agra to hear and decide Rent Control Appeal No.230 of 2024 (Smt. Munni Devi and Others vs. Mohan Devi-since deceased) at the earliest within such stipulated time allowed by the Hon'ble Court." 3. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the aforesaid appeal at the instance of the respondent/tenant, is pending before the appellate authority/Additional District Judge, Court No.1, Agra as Rent Control Appeal No.230 of 2024 and interim order is operating in appeal. He submitted that appropriate direction be issued for the expeditious disposal of the aforesaid appeal. He further placed the certified copy of the order-sheet in order to demonstrate that the matter is not proceeding expeditiously. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with the direction to appellate authority/Additional District Judge, Court No.1, Agra to decide the aforesaid proceedings to its logical conclusion, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 3 months, from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned, after affording proper opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, in accordance with law.
