The petitioner is a complainant and he made a complaint against the sitting Pradhan of the Village before the District Magistrate, Hamirpur/respondent no.3 along-with an affidavit. The said complaint was taken note and thereafter, District Panchayat Raj Officer, Hamirpur vide its letter dated 20.01.2025 appointed Chief Development Officer, Hamirpur as Enquiry Officer. 2. It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that though a considerable time has lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken on the same. 3. On the other hand it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that authority concerned will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 5. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, present writ petition is being disposed of finally at the admission stage itself. 6. In the facts and circumstances of the case, present writ petition is disposed of finally directing the respondent no.2-Joint Development Commissioner, Chitrakoot Dham Mandal, Banda at Banda to conclude the proceedings initiated against the sitting Pradhan of the Village pursuant to the complaint made by the petitioner expeditiously unless there is no legal impediment.
